GEN1 DCT
Using the BMW E9x DCT CAN protocol, this digital input is a multipurpose digital input determined by the vehicle speed (VSS).
Press and hold a button connected to this input
Vehicle speed is used.
•Above 25km/h --> MaxxECU will enable the clutchkick feature for the DCT gearbox, described in the DCT Settings page.
•Below 25km/h --> MaxxECU will active the DCT burnout mode, described in the DCT Control page.
Note: This feature was experimental for the DCT, intended for testing only, and is not functional in practice. Due to limitations in control strategy, timing, and gearbox response, the clutch kick / virtual clutch behavior does not work reliably and should not be used. The feature is therefore considered deprecated.
